What is Toldit?
Toldit is a Mac app. You talk, it answers. Ask for a page, you get a page. It can also dictate your words into the app you’re using.
How is organizing different from dictation?
Organizing gives information a place inside Toldit: a detail on Marco’s page, an update to your moving list, or two quotes kept together for a decision. Dictation puts the words themselves into a text field in the app you’re using. The Toldit subscription includes both.
Can I download it yet?
Toldit is coming soon for Mac. The download will be available on this website when the app is ready.
Are the website examples the finished app?
They are product previews with fictional information. Some respond to clicks or typed text; the speech examples play a prepared sequence. They show how the app works and do not connect to your Mac apps.
Is this website listening to me?
No. The previews do not use your microphone. Animated examples play a prepared sequence, and typed examples are processed in your browser.
Will Toldit work offline?
Toldit turns your speech into text on your Mac. Answers and pages use AI in the cloud, so they need an internet connection. Without one, your notebook on your Mac keeps working. Read the privacy notes.
Where is my information stored?
Your notebook is saved on your Mac. If you turn on sync, it is also kept in your account, so it is the same on each Mac where you sign in. Toldit can show your Apple Calendar events, but it does not change them. The privacy policy has the details.
Can I edit or export my information?
Yes. You can update a page by talking to Toldit, and export your notes at any time, free of charge. You can try changing a checklist or moving a calendar item in the interactive previews.
How much will it cost?
$29.99 USD a month, or $249 a year, before tax. Where VAT applies, your local price includes it. One plan includes organizing and dictation. It starts with a 7-day free trial with everything included. A card is needed to start, and you pay nothing if you cancel before the trial ends. If we ever raise the price, we tell you at least 30 days before, and you choose: accept the new price, or your subscription ends when your paid period does. See the plan.
Which devices does it support?
Toldit needs a Mac with Apple silicon and macOS 13.3 or later. Recording a meeting needs macOS 14.2 or later.
